Optical Systems Technology, Inc. (OSTI),
the founding member of the OmniTech
Partners Group, was incorporated in
1995 as a Pennsylvania "S" Corp with a mission to
design and develop multi-spectral
optical systems and stabilized gimbaled
optical platforms for military and law
enforcement applications. In 1996,
Optical Systems Technology, Inc.
acquired the
Star-Tron® Night Vision product line
formerly a business area of the Smith &
Wesson corporation. In the Spring of
1997 Optical Systems Technology, Inc. began operations at its Freeport facility (see
below) with 6 personnel.
In 2001,
Keystone Applied Technologies, Inc.
(KATI) was incorporated in
Pennsylvania as a
partner group to design, develop, and
prototype new electro-optical
surveillance systems, small arms

night vision weaponsights, and stabilized gimbaled
products. Early in 2003 OmniTech
Partners, Inc. was founded to
consolidate both operating groups (OSTI
& KATI) and other assets under a single holding company.
2003 also marked the founding of
FrigiLite, Inc., a "commercial
products" corporation with a mission to
design and manufacture high performance,
cost effective remote source lighting
solutions for refrigerated merchandiser
display cases.
Today the OmniTech Partners Group
employs 65 full-time and 3 part-time
employees that include 16 engineers with
5 advanced degrees and 2 PhDs, 4
designers/draftsmen, and 2 Journeyman
Machinists. |
